Job description

United Bank of Union is seeking to fill the position of Loan Documentation Assistant.ย ย  The ideal candidate is detail oriented, motivated and able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.ย  Responsibilities include attaining information, preparing loan documents necessary for closing a loan; performing loan audit review of all in-house loan documentation for accuracy and compliance to convey to the internal or external sources as required to close the loan.

ย Essential duties:

  • Process all pre-disclosures and appropriate loan documents (in-house and fixed rate mortgage loans) for loan closings that will include the interaction with insurance companies, title companies, customer and loan officers.
  • Forward all notice of liens for titled collateral to the State of Missouri.
  • Complete title applications to the State of Missouri and if ownership changes update appropriate documentation in the file (i.e. Security Agreements).ย  Update Navigator with added or removed collateral, as necessary.
  • Pull up ARM rates and update new rates in Navigator and send appropriate documentation to assigned personnel.
  • Prepare, mail and file all necessary documentation for repossessed collateral.
  • Loan review of all documents pertaining to all in-house loans.
  • Conduct thorough post-closed review (second review) of loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and investor guidelines.
  • Review the indexing of paid loans into Director
  • Assist in service area with encoding of payments, quoting payoffs, answering customer inquiries.
  • Answer phone inquiries.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
