Job Title: Mobile Shred Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mobile Shred Operator to join our team. As a Mobile Shred Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and efficient destruction of sensitive and confidential documents for our clients. You will operate shredding equipment mounted on a mobile unit and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our company’s commitment to confidentiality and security. Your routed areas will include Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and the Jacksonville area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain mobile shredding equipment to shred documents in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive the mobile shred truck to client locations within the designated service area.
  • Interact professionally with clients to provide an excellent customer service experience.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to document destruction and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for each shredding job, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on shredding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and those around the shredding area at all times.
  • Report any issues with equipment or customer concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening
  • Background check and a DOT physical, as well as on going random drug screening
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy bags and boxes of documents.
  • Experience in a similar role or with shredding equipment is a plus.
