Provide administrative support related to document services through general office clerical and typing duties in fast paced work environment.
Maintain compliance standards through the review and completion of various tasks.
Requires the flexibility to move between processing incoming mail and routing documents to the correct business line.
Helps assist the team with special projects as needed.
**Due to the nature of the work, this position is a fully IN OFFICE position, working in the Nelnet Center office building**
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
2. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.
3. Ensure integrity of data and information.
4. Perform quality control functions.
5. Update information on accounts in the Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems.
6. Perform the following tasks with Incoming Mail and Emails; Open, Sort, Scan, and route to the correct business line.
7. Perform other routine in office tasks to help support other team members.
8. Responsible for manually tracking tasks assigned.
Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance
  • Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen
  • This process involves collecting and providing 7 years of previous work experience, previous addresses, and contact information of people that can verify this information
  • Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt
  • Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education

Starting pay for this role is $16.50/hour
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 2 years customer service experience, general office experience, or Data Entry preferred.
2. Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.
3. Basic understanding of Microsoft applications.
