Accounting Clerk - 2026
Department: Administration
Employment Type: Seasonal - Full Time
Location: Rail Services

Behind the scenes in every successful business are the accountants and office staff that support the entire organization. As an accounting clerk, you analyze, verify, and report on sales from our trains with an eye for detail. Auditing transactions and sending reports to our corporate office helps keep us profitable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily reconciliation and data entry from onboard train sales.
  • Daily audit of receipts from onboard train sales.
  • Organize, scan, upload, and maintain supporting documents for audits.
  • Maintain records and files in accordance with company procedures and policies.
  • Complete daily rounds with the administration team, retrieving daily accounting. paperwork and banks/deposits, in accordance with company guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs./11kg.
  • Must be comfortable using Windows based computers.
  • Experience with Excel basics preferred.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
