Job description

Engineering Data Administrator (AutoCAD / Document Control)

Location: Durham, NC 27709
Duration: 24+ Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $27/hr W2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering drawings, documents, revisions, and version control.
  • Create and update 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Maintain document control systems, CAD standards, and engineering records.
  • Perform redline updates and support facility layout documentation.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, HR, and project teams on documentation updates.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Document Control, CAD Administration, or Engineering Documentation.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D/3D).
  • Experience with document management systems, revision control, and engineering records.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
    Preferred:
  • Experience in Facilities, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of ANSI, ISO, or ASME standards.
