Job description

Shamrock Roofing is an established roofing and construction company servicing the metro-Kansas City area since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest and now servicing areas in Lincoln, Omaha and St. Louis.


We are currently hiring a Bilingual Production Assistant to provide support to our Production crew and perform a variety of tasks throughout the Greater Kansas City area.


The Production Assistant develops schedules for particular projects being performed by the company. This person will not work on the labor end of construction, but assists in the planning of the project.


Additional responsibilities of the Construction Production Assistant:

  • Responds to inquiries and answering questions
  • Manages documents such as subcontractor requisitions, vendor invoices, and project activities.
  • Ongoing communication with Project Managers and the Production Team
  • Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices and ensures our safety program is in accordance with all safety laws that are applicable
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling· Meeting with subcontractors
  • Approve jobs and schedule crews
  • Customer care
  • Helps sales team input orders by reviewing scopes of work, etc.
  • All other duties assigned by manager


Pay and Benefits:

  • $50k - $55k salary based on experience
  • Full-time, in-office position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., one-hour lunch)
  • Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits after 30 days of employment.
  • PTO Accrual after 30 days of employment.
  • 401K after 6 months of employment
  • All new hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Experience in Roofing CRM Systems required
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work well with people
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the construction/roofing/insurance industries preferred
  • The ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hardworking with a “do-what-it-takes” attitude
  • Willing to adapt on the fly
  • Bilingual required
