Job description

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Production Assistants to support daily manufacturing and inventory operations in a structured production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining product integrity, traceability, and accurate documentation throughout the production process.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality standards, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM – Temporary to Hire Position
Must be able to work this schedule consistently

Responsibilities

  • Transfer, bag, and label products following inspection procedures
  • Pull components using Manufacturing Order (MO) picklists
  • Assemble products according to detailed work instructions
  • Accurately document lot numbers and maintain traceability within the system
  • Log labor hours into Manufacturing Orders as required
  • Pull, count, weigh, and label parts for outside processing
  • Operate production equipment such as counting scales, heat sealers, tray sealers, scanners, and cleaning equipment
  • Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks according to procedures
  • Follow all quality, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of general work experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree preferred but not required
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely
  • Comfortable working in a structured, team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Word (Excel a plus)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
