Customer Service/Warehouse Associate

BENEFITS:  Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute meal break

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a CSR/Warehouse Associate to be located in Norcross, GA.  Reporting to the Branch Manager, the CSR/Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day sales activities of the branch.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide clients with an unsurpassed level of customer service, expertise, and convenience throughout the sales and order fulfillment process.
  • Answer telephone calls and greet clients as they enter the customer service area.
  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately; maintain open order and quote reports; and follow up on backorders.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status and estimated delivery dates.
  • Schedule deliveries and conduct customer reminder calls.
  • Scan and maintain all required documentation in the imaging system, including purchase orders (POs), receivers, and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Organize stock and maintain inventory levels and supplies, rotating inventory as needed.
  • Accurately inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to vendors, customers, and other locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and restock shelves using forklifts, ladders, or manual methods as appropriate.
  • Comply with all company safety, health, and housekeeping regulations.
  • Process inventory transfer documentation to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, consistent with applicable ADA and FMLA requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification preferred, or the ability and willingness to obtain certification.
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base, including homeowners, builders, architects, and designers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of energy, initiative, and enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship-selling skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with exceptional follow-through and accountability.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to take accurate measurements and perform routine calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based computer applications and business software.
