Role Description

We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for analyzing data, calibrating equipment and developing procedures. Conducts audits, inspection plans, training, quality documentation, and control of nonconforming materials as well participate in root cause analysis for continuous process improvement. Ensures adherence to established safety standards and approved manufacturing practices for STI products.

This is a on-site role based out of our Burlington, NJ Warehouse & Manufacturing Facility.


What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze inspection and testing data to identify quality trends, failures, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage nonconforming materials and drive timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and material disposition records.
  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate inspection activities with suppliers and external vendors as needed.
  • Evaluate and manage customer returns (RMAs) to support effective resolution and material disposition.
  • Maintain material control and tracking within the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy and visibility.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation; train personnel on quality processes.
  • Support internal and external audits, including audit preparation and compliance activities.
  • Maintain the Quality Hold Area and ensure adherence to established quality requirements.
  • Other duties assigned by management

Education

  • Associate degree

 Experience

  • 4-5+ years of experience in Quality Control Required 
  • Direct Manufacturing Experience Required
  • Advanced skills with experience in MRP and Inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and industry standards.
  • Full familiarity with manual and automated measurement instrumentation is required.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to develop and follow written procedures
  • Ability to read specifications, labels, and work instructions
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills to detect patterns & predict trends.
  • ASQ or CQT certification a plus.
