Job Summary
Dr. Jordan King's Lab in the Department of Population Health Sciences, Division of Health System Innovation & Research at the University of Utah School of Medicine is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellow interested in gaining training and experience in health services research. The primary objectives focus on pharmacoepidemiology, comparative-effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness analysis in the area of cardiovascular disease prevention. However, other related opportunities for research will be available.
The Fellowship will train fellows for independent academic research careers. Fellows are expected to collaborate on established projects and are encouraged to conduct independent research with an emphasis on study inception, be productive manuscript writers, and apply for their own grants.
A breadth of resources and collaborative support will enable fellows to build their own research programs. For interested candidates, there are opportunities to develop qualitative as well as quantitative and statistical expertise. Salary is competitive with excellent fringe benefits.
