About the Role

As an Automation Technician, you'll play a hands-on role keeping our advanced robotic systems, automated equipment, and control panels operating at peak performance. From troubleshooting and repairs to building new automation systems from the ground up, this position is perfect for someone who loves combining technical skills with problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
  • Jump into action when automation systems raise alarms-resolve issues quickly to keep production flowing.
  • Work side-by-side with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams across shifts to maintain top-notch system performance.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair state-of-the-art automation equipment, ensuring all components fit, function, and perform as designed.
  • Assemble and wire new automation equipment following detailed blueprints, schematics, and layouts.
  • Build and wire electrical panels for both digital and analog control systems.
  • Document every improvement and modification-your precision keeps our systems evolving efficiently.
  • Partner with engineers to bring innovative designs to life.

What You Bring
  • A two-year technical degree (or progress toward completion).
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in an automation or related field.
  • Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with 6-axis robot programming and vision systems (Cognex experience is a huge plus).
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • The physical strength, dexterity, and steadiness needed to handle precision assembly work safely and efficiently.
