Job description

An experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager is needed to lead daily operations and clinical services within a home infusion pharmacy setting. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in managing sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, and pharmacy team leadership. You will ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous training and long-term success.
Location: Decatur, GA
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Schedule flexibility required
  • Administrative on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, and inventory control.
  • Lead, train, and develop pharmacists and technicians; manage recruitment, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Ensure strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to maintain clinical excellence in infusion therapies.
  • Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategic performance initiatives.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia.
  • 5-7 years of experience in clinical pharmacy and operations, particularly in home infusion or acute care settings.
  • Expertise in IV admixture services, regulatory accreditation, and team leadership.
  • Prior infusion management experience is essential.
  • Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to take administrative on-call duties; routine pharmacist on-call duties are shared among the team.
