Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Direct Hire Opportunity: Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager – Columbus, OH

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility; administrative on-call duties required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and clinical services to ensure safe, home-based intravenous therapies.
  • Lead sterile compounding activities including IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
  • Manage pharmacy staff recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluations, and on-call schedule coordination.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards set forth by State Boards of Pharmacy and USP compounding guidelines.
  • Provide clinical oversight by collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
  • Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives focused on profitability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in Ohio.
  • 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care settings.
  • Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy teams.
  • Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred.
