Join Fairview Eyecare as an Optometric Technician, where you will play a vital role in assisting our clinical manager and doctor in delivering exceptional patient care. In a supportive and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for conducting various tests to assess patients' visual health. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere and are passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the clinical manager and doctor in patient care.
  • Test patients' visual acuity, depth perception, intraocular pressure, color vision, and pupil reflexes.
  • Prepare exam schedules and ready exam rooms for patient visits.
  • Clean and maintain ocular equipment.
  • Collect and enter eye health data into our electronic medical record system (EMR).
  • Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
  • Support fellow team members to foster a cohesive and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

  • Availability to work two Saturdays per month.
