Loading Dock Concierge

Stratton Amenities is a hospitality services company providing concierge, front desk, and building support programs to Class A commercial and residential properties throughout the United States. Our focus is creating safe, professional, and welcoming experiences for tenants, guests, visitors, vendors, and clients.

Position Summary

The Loading Dock Concierge is responsible for managing loading dock activity, vendor and delivery access, vehicle flow, dock safety, and visitor coordination in a professional Class A property environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, situational awareness, and a hospitality-focused approach when interacting with delivery personnel, vendors, tenants, and property teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor loading dock activity and ensure safe, organized dock operations.
  • Greet and screen delivery personnel, vendors, contractors, and authorized visitors.
  • Verify access authorization and follow all sign-in and visitor management procedures.
  • Direct delivery vehicles into approved loading dock areas.
  • Assist with vehicle flow, pedestrian awareness, and dock traffic coordination.
  • Ensure loading dock doors, gates, and access points remain secure.
  • Prevent unauthorized parking, idling, or vehicle congestion near the loading dock.
  • Redirect deliveries to the appropriate dock, freight elevator, or approved delivery location.
  • Document delivery activity, entry and exit times, vendor information, and incidents.
  • Report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and building concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, property management, vendors, and building teams.
  • Follow all property procedures, emergency protocols, post orders, and company standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, concierge, loading dock operations, security, logistics, customer service, or building operations preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable using phones, radios, tablets, computers, visitor management systems, and basic reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate issues promptly.
