What is dock management?

Dock management refers to the coordination and oversight of activities at loading docks, where goods are received, stored, and shipped. This role involves scheduling deliveries, managing dock workers, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and optimizing the flow of materials in and out of the facility. Effective dock management is crucial for minimizing delays, preventing accidents, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
