JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Milwright Dock Worker in Madison, Alabama . The Milwright Dock worker is responsible for delivering windows, doors, lumber, and building materials to various job sites. This position involves physical labor and requires candidates who can perform hand loading, unloading, and securing of materials.
Responsibilities:
The Millwork Dock Worker assists in the timely, damage-free, and safe loading and unloading of inventory.
• Customer service
• Reading paperwork/orders
• Problem solving
• Maintaining a safe clean working environment
Position Qualifications:
  • One to two years experience in production and/or shipping & receiving environment by use of hand and forklift
  • Carpentry, material handling, and stocking/inventory experience preferred
  • Trim carpentry and building material knowledge a plus as you will be working with lumber building materials
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, squatting, walking, and standing for long periods.
  • Must be able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks, with weights ranging from 25 lbs. to 100lbs
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, humid, and windy environments.
