PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Loader / Unloader for an established trucking and logistics company for our customer in the Greenville, SC area.
In this role, you will be a key player on the shipping and receiving dock. This is a high-energy position that requires both forklift expertise and the willingness to jump in with manual labor. You won't be working in a silo; you will be part of a coordinated team that works together to sort and move inventory quickly and safely.

Dock Loader / Unloader Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the efficient loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring all freight is handled with care and organized correctly for transport.

  • Forklift Operation: Utilize an industrial forklift to safely move, stack, and stage pallets and heavy materials on the dock and inside trailers.
  • Team Loading/Sorting: Work as part of a collaborative team to manually lift, sort, and organize large rolls of material (up to 50 lbs).
  • Freight Verification: Assist in verifying that inbound and outbound loads match the manifest and are free from damage.
  • Dock Maintenance: Keep the dock area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
  • Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all warehouse safety protocols, especially when operating machinery or performing team lifts.


Dock Loader / Unloader Requirements include:

  • Forklift Expertise: Proven experience as a Forklift Operator is required. You must be comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces on a busy dock.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50 lb. rolls; must be comfortable with "team lifting" and constant movement.
  • Reliability: Exceptional attendance is critical for this short, high-impact evening shift.
  • Teamwork Mindset: A positive attitude and the ability to coordinate physical tasks with others to get the job done.
