Orlando, FL

Compensation DOE: Up to $28/hr.

Dock Installer to support marina construction and floating dock installation projects based out of Jacksonville, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys working outdoors, traveling, and contributing to large-scale marine construction projects.

What Youโ€™ll Do as a Dock Installer:

As a Dock Installer, youโ€™ll assist with the installation and assembly of floating dock systems at project sites. Youโ€™ll work closely with crew leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprint specifications.

Dock Installer Duties Include:
  • Installing floating docks in the water based on blueprints and project plans
  • Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Transporting and positioning dock floats using forklifts and other equipment
  • Aligning and assembling dock sections to meet project specifications
  • Using hand tools such as wrenches, rubber mallets, and other equipment to secure materials
  • Handling hardware such as bolts, washers, rods, and lumber during assembly
  • Following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Reporting construction or safety issues to supervisors
  • Supporting additional construction-related tasks as needed
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • Previous construction, dock building, or outdoor labor experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints or work instructions
  • Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
  • Must be able to swim or be comfortable working in/around water with a flotation device
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 75โ€“90% during peak project times
  • Dependable with strong work ethic and reliability
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments and varying conditions
