Location: Grapevine, TX
Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday | 4:00 PM โ€“ 12:00 AM
Pay: $20.00/hour + DOE (Depending on Experience)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Freight Dock Workers to join a fast-paced logistics team. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, organizing, and moving freight throughout the warehouse and cross-dock environment while ensuring all shipments are handled accurately and without damage. Candidates must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Essential Job Duties
  • Load and unload freight from trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Stack, unstack, stage, and organize freight for shipping and receiving.
  • Secure shipments using load bars, straps, dunnage, and other load-securing materials.
  • Read shipping labels, manifests, and bills of lading to verify shipment accuracy.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Measure, weigh, and document freight as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous freight dock, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
