Job Summary

The AM House Attendant is responsible for performing a combination of tasks which maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant and positive guest experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Consistently check and replenish; Maintain the organization, visual appeal, cleanliness, and sanitation of assigned areas.

• Ensure clear, concise, efficient, and appropriate communication at all times with Room Attendants, House Attendants, Supervisors, Dispatcher, and management.

• Assist Room Attendants with moving/rearranging furniture, removing guest room linen, trash removal, and cleaning balconies/patios.

• Prepare, deliver, and collect guest request items- coffee/tea setup, rollaway beds, baby cribs, household items, amenities, etc.

• Clean carpets and upholstery using the proper equipment and following cleaning procedures.

• Receive and properly store cleaning supply, guest supply, and linen deliveries from the loading dock.

• Assist with setup and breakdown of hotel events.

• Must be able to cross-train in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas.

Requirements:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 - 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Luxury hotel and/or luxury residence experience preferred.

• High volume/ fast-paced environment experience preferred.

• Intermediate English- verbal.

• Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements include:

• The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds (carts).
