Position Information
Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Biology Unit Biology Job Location Crete, NE (68333) Description of Work
Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, Nebraska, invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the School of Natural and Life Sciences to co-teach the 4-credit course BIO 215 Human Anatomy and Physiology I during the Fall 2026 semester. The course meets in-person on Doane's residential campus in Crete, Nebraska, for 1 hour and 25 minutes, 3 times per week. The weekly meeting time is 1:30 pm- 2:55 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The successful candidate will plan, develop, and execute the course curriculum and assessments to align with the department-chosen textbook and learning outcomes in collaboration with other BIO 215 instructors. The successful candidate will work with the BIO 216 Human Anatomy and Physiology II instructor to ensure continuity between the courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for hosting office hours and meeting with students as needed to support them in the course. 
The successful candidate may be offered the opportunity to co-teach BIO 216 Human Anatomy and Physiology II in the Spring 2027 semester if approved by the department.
