Job description

Certified Nurse Midwife (Full-Time)

As one of the region's largest and most comprehensive multi-specialty medical networks, the organization is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through prevention, education, and integrated care.

The facility offers a broad range of clinical services including urgent care, primary care, pediatrics, women's health, behavioral health, gastroenterology, and chronic disease management. The care model emphasizes collaboration, continuity, and timely access to care for patients with both acute and ongoing health needs.

The facility is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a patient-centered women's health team in Bronx, NY.

This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to practice within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment that values evidence-based care, patient education, and professional growth. The CNM will provide comprehensive women's health services including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care while working closely with OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
  • Conduct routine gynecologic exams, family planning, and reproductive health counseling.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
  • Diagnose and manage common obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Educate and counsel patients on preventive health, nutrition, lactation, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program (MSN or DNP).
  • Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in New York.
  • Experience: Prior experience in women's health, obstetrics, or gynecology preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
