About the role

We are a busy, high-volume dealership looking for an experienced automotive title clerk to join our office team. In this role you will handle the complete title processing workflow — from deal funding through DMV submission — while keeping our accounting and compliance systems accurate and up to date. If you know your way around Title processing and CRM softwares and take pride in clean, error-free work, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Manage deal funding and all related paperwork
  • Submit title work to the DMV and track status through to completion
  • Audit deal jackets to ensure all documents are correct, signed, and compliant
  • Communicate with lenders, tag agencies, and customers regarding title status
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records for all transactions
  • Coordinate with finance, sales, and accounting teams on funding deadlines
  • Identify and resolve title discrepancies, odometer issues, and lien payoffs

Requirements

  • TitleTec proficiency is required — you must have hands-on experience using this platform
  • DLR experience is required — comfort navigating deal processing and reporting in DLR
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive title clerk or DMV clerk experience at a dealership
  • Strong working knowledge of state titling laws, lien release procedures, and out-of-state titles
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high volume and strict deadlines
  • Solid communication skills for coordinating with lenders and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
