Job description

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a part-time Title Processing based, experienced level position, that directly assists clients with tag and title needs. All applicants must have prior automotive title clerk experience including out-of-state. We are flexible on the part-time schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
Process incoming and outgoing titles ensuring transfer ability to buyer in an efficient and accurate manner.
Perform all duties assigned by the Office Manager.
Must learn, practice and ensure that company polices and procedures and state or federal laws are followed at all times.
Send customer's paperwork off to be processed in a timely manner.
Demonstrate friendliness with every customer as you follow up about their tag information and interact with their needs.
Maintain a professional appearance and work area.
Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints or disputes.
Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner. Advise the Comptroller of all serious complaints or incidences.
Verify accurate title VIN numbers, odometer reading, release of liens, "free and clear" title and that titles contain no alterations. Check vehicle titles for accuracy. Ensure that titles are delivered to purchaser.
Maintain knowledge of DMV laws and regulations as it relates to vehicle titles.
Stock in vehicles/equipment, make payments when due.
Call auctions once a week for titles and or payments.
Order supplies, file invoices correctly.
