DMV & Loan Servicing Administrator

  • Location: Irwindale, CA
  • Reports to: Manager, Consumer Loan Processing & Servicing
  • Hours/Schedule: 32 hours/week - Must be able to work 1 - 2 Saturday shifts per month.
  • Hybrid Arrangement: In office 100% for first 90 days, then hybrid work available with 2 - 3 days per week in office.

At Rize Credit Union, we're passionate about helping our members achieve financial success while delivering exceptional service every step of the way. We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional to join our Consumer Lending team as a DMV & Loan Servicing Administrator.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting our members after their loans are funded by ensuring accurate loan servicing, processing vehicle titles and DMV documentation, managing payoffs, and maintaining collateral records. If you enjoy solving problems, working with precision, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our DMV & Loan Servicing Administrator, you'll help ensure our consumer loan portfolio is serviced accurately and efficiently by:

  • Processing vehicle titles, DMV documentation, lien perfection, and lien releases
  • Managing loan and lease payoffs and servicing requests
  • Researching and maintaining loan and lease accounts
  • Responding to inquiries from members, dealerships, attorneys, branches, and business partners
  • Monitoring title documentation and following up to resolve outstanding items
  • Preparing reports and performing quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance member service

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1โ€“2 years of experience working in a financial institution

Preferred

  • Consumer lending or loan servicing experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle titles, DMV processes, indirect lending, or lease servicing
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Technology Skills

You'll be successful if you're comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel) and enjoy learning new systems, including loan servicing, core banking, and title tracking platforms.
