DMV Title Clerk (Hiring Immediately)
Location: North Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday with a flexible start time
We are currently hiring immediately for an experienced DMV Title Clerk to join our automotive team in North Scottsdale. This position offers a flexible start time, a Monday through Friday work schedule, and the opportunity to work in a professional, customer-focused dealership environment.
Position Summary
The DMV Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role serves as a critical link between the dealership, financial institutions, customers, and the Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure vehicle transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and submit vehicle title and registration documents for new and used vehicle sales.
  • Review sales paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and compliance requirements.
  • Verify ownership records, lienholder information, odometer disclosures, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and resolve title defects, missing documents, and registration discrepancies.
  • Process title transfers, dealer trades, wholesales, and payoff transactions.
  • Maintain organized records of title and registration transactions.
  • Monitor aging schedules and follow up on outstanding titles and registrations.
  • Communicate with customers, lending institutions, government agencies, and dealership personnel regarding title issues and status updates.
  • Ensure all transactions are completed within state-required timelines.
  • Support accounting and administrative departments with title-related reporting and documentation.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of DMV, title processing, automotive administration, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of vehicle title and registration procedures.
  • Ability to identify and resolve title discrepancies and document defects.
