Job Summary
The Registration Processing Specialist is responsible for providing document handling support and for verifying received paperwork according to established BMV policies and internal procedures. The candidate best suited for the position will have excellent communication, attention to detail, punctuality, and organization skills. A clean driving record and current driver's license is required
Key Responsibilities
  • Key transactions in the DMVA (DMV Automation)
  • Prepare completed paperwork to be sent to DMV
  • Prepare field office items (transactions that cannot be keyed in the DMV Automation)
  • Monitor and maintain transactions that can be e-filed.
  • Organize and manage all items received from the DMV field office.
  • Provides quality customer service through follow up communication to complete all transactions.
  • Verifies that all information is keyed accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience with CA DMV/BPA and other related DMV documents for both new and used vehicles.
  • Experience with DMV accounting and bundle reconciliation
  • EVR program knowledge (E-filing)
  • Knowledge of DMV regulations pertaining to registration processing
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to train others
  • Able to effectively communicate with high level Executives
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision

Compensation
The hourly rate range for this position is: $18.00 - $20.00
The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
