What is a DME director?

A DME Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) within a healthcare organization or company. They ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, manage staff, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain quality standards for equipment provided to patients. The DME Director also oversees budgeting, handles patient and provider relations, and implements policies to improve efficiency and patient care.
