Job description

Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic is currently seeking a full-time DME Coordinator/Orthopedic Technician to join our team! Along with a collaborative, team-oriented work environment, we offer an excellent benefits package. The DME Coordinator works with the DME Director, providers and clinical staff to ensure patients receive outstanding care instruction to ensure that they understand how to use durable medical equipment.
Job responsibilities:
Educates patients as to the financial responsibility associated with their DME
Responsible for the DME inventory management at assigned clinical locations and administrative duties within the DME program
Serves as point of contact for Billing, Insurance Verification and DME Surgery Coordinator at assigned clinics
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent customer service/patient care skills
Exceptional organization and communication skills
Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Anticipate and responds to customer needs; follows up until needs are met
Performance Improvement/Problem-Solving:
Contribute to a positive work environment
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to change
Identify opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes
Make appropriate decisions, using sound judgment
