THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a highly technical team member to join our team, able to articulate high-level business benefits to the various target audiences, who is creative, innovative and results-oriented, willing to go the extra mile in a fast-paced startup environment.
As a DLP Solutions Architect, you are an integral part of the organization and will own technical presales efforts for the Cyera DLP product. You will act as a technical expert who best understands and articulates the unique value proposition of the Cyera DLP solution. This would involve performing Cyera DLP demos, driving Proof of Values end-to-end, and owning the technical sales success of the Cyera DLP. In addition, you will work closely with product management, marketing, core field sales teams, and engineering to influence the product strategy and roadmap, develop collateral, solution guides and compelling demos. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, technology partners, and represent Cyera at industry events and conferences as needed. This is a highly visible and strategic position both within the company and across the industry and a great opportunity to advance your career and make an impactful contribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Customer Proof of Value (POV) Engagements
  • Plan success criteria, execute hands-on technical validation (deploy/configure, integrate, troubleshoot), run stakeholder readouts, and drive the POV to a clear outcome and next steps.

Deliver Compelling Product Demonstrations
  • Tailor demos to the customer's use cases and personas, tell a clear value story, showcase core workflows and differentiators, handle technical Q&A live, and align next steps based on outcomes.

Technical Leadership and Expertise
  • Act as the primary technical advisor and expert in the Cyera DLP for the sales team, customers, and prospects.
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and insights about the Cyera DLP and how it fits with various other DLP products.
  • Understand and evolve usage of Cyera DSPM product to enable unprecedented success of the Cyera DLP to achieve actionable outcomes for customers seeking to implement or improve their DLP programs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.

Solution Architecture and Design
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and design customized solutions that align with their goals and drive value realization through platform adoption
  • Develop and present technical proposals, solution blueprints, and integration strategies.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with Cyera's best practices.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve product offerings and identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
  • Serve as a bridge between the sales team and product/engineering teams, communicating customer needs and market demands.
  • Collaborate with product management to influence product roadmaps and prioritize features based on customer feedback.
  • Participate in product development discussions to ensure alignment with market requirements.

Thought Leadership and Evangelism
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of deployment experience in the sales engineering role
  • Proven experience working with customers and partners in successful design and deployment of multi-vendor solutions
  • Ability to juggle and successfully drive projects with customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Expertise in the following data protection areas: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Security, Governance, and Access Control, Data Breach Response, Data Privacy and Compliance
  • Extensive experience with DLP product suites across network, web, email from vendors such as Symantec, McAfee, SkyHigh, Digital Guardian, Netskope, zScaler, Cyberhaven, Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience with XDR, EDR, and MDR products.
  • Experience in cloud computing based services architecture, technical design and implementations including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models.
  • Experience with cloud computing solutions implementations including Microsoft 365, Google, AWS, Box, and Salesforce, etc.
  • Good understanding of Identity and Access Management(IAM) concepts such as user provisioning, federation, SAML/OIDC, IAM roles, PAM, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience in early stage startups
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Compensation Range: $275,000-$325,000.
The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
This compensation range represents Cyera's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera's sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee's work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera's business and other operational considerations.
Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
