In this remote position, you will operate from the comfort of your own space while connecting with clients through a telehealth platform. The role mirrors a traditional outpatient office experience, utilizing technology to facilitate therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ symptoms, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and emotional impact of mood disorders and relationship issues.
• Work intimately with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful progress and healing.
• Educate clients and their families on understanding mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care strategies for managing emotional well-being.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to respond effectively to their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and support for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and innovative practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for continuous professional growth.

This role predominantly focuses on couples and families struggling with relationship dynamics, particularly those experiencing the emotional upheaval of divorce. As a therapist, you will create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, improve communication, and navigate conflicts with empathy and understanding. • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
