Nurse Practitioner – Wellness, Functional Medicine & Medical Aesthetics | Loves Park, IL

We are partnering with a well-established, wellness center in the Rockford/Loves Park, IL area to find an entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioner (NP) to help lead and grow their wellness and functional medicine division. This is a rare opportunity for a clinician who wants clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and a genuine pathway to partnership and ownership. This is a 1099 opportunity. 

Position Details
  • Setting: Integrated Wellness Center (Chiropractic, Rehab, Massage, Med Spa, Functional Medicine)
  • Patient Population: Adult / Wellness-focused
  • Schedule: Flexible | Starting at 20–25 hours/week with opportunity to expand
  • Workweek: No weekends required
  • Location: Loves Park, IL (Rockford area)
  • Compensation: Startup salary with commission, revenue-sharing, and performance-based growth
  • Insurance Model: Hybrid — insurance and cash-pay
  • Start Date: ASAP
About the Role

This wellness center has been serving the Rockford community for 18 years across services including chiropractic care, rehabilitation, massage therapy, medical aesthetics, red light therapy, stretch therapy, and holistic wellness. They are now rebuilding and relaunching their Nurse Practitioner service line and are looking for the right clinician to help shape and grow it from the ground up.

This is not a traditional clinical role — it's an opportunity to be part of something you help build, with the autonomy to develop programs and grow a patient base, backed by an established clinical team and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) programs
  • Deliver Functional Medicine services and patient care plans
  • Administer IV therapy and wellness injections
  • Participate in Medical Aesthetics services (Botox, fillers, and related treatments — based on experience)
  • Build and manage long-term patient relationships
  • Collaborate with an established wellness team including chiropractors and massage therapists
  • Help design and grow the practice's NP service offerings
  • Participate in Pain Management programs as applicable
What We're Looking For
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Full Practice Authority or supervised — IL license required or eligible)
  • Experience in wellness, functional medicine, hormone therapy, aesthetics, primary care, or a related specialty — preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in building and scaling a practice
  • Passion for holistic patient care and wellness
  • Strong communication and patient relationship-building skills
  • Desire for autonomy and long-term professional investment
  • Interest in future partnership or ownership opportunity — a plus
