The Opportunity

This position works on site out of our Austin, TX site supporting the Neuromodulation division. Our Neuromodulation business is an area of expertise for Abbott. This business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. Our Solutions include the ProclaimTM and EternaTM SCS systems, the ProclaimTM DRG Neurostimulator, the only FDA approved DRG therapy and market leading radiofrequency ablation products. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. Our deep brain stimulation technology for progressive diseases help people manage their Parkinson's disease and essential tremor symptoms, steering away from side effects.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HCP curriculum and professional education programs.

  • Own the end-to-end curriculum development process, including needs assessment, learning objectives, content creation, deployment strategy, and ongoing optimization.

  • Develop content across instructor-led, virtual, e-learning and blended learning formats.

  • Translate IFUs, product labeling, clinical evidence and procedural workflows into compliant HCP educational content.

  • Proactively identify educational gaps and develop innovative learning solutions that improve healthcare provider competency and confidence.

  • Partner with Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial teams.

  • Design and develop curriculum solutions, then lead program launch, execution, measurement, and lifecycle management.

  • Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs.

  • Adapt, implement and execute curricula and training content through multiple channels.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing leaders to align initiatives.

  • Coordinate educational programs including event preparation, travel, venue selection and execution.

  • Track and maintain program budgets.

  • Work closely with physician faculty and gather feedback to refine education strategy.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Abbott products, therapies, customers and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university.

  • At least 5 years of experience in curriculum design and educational program managment.

  • Solid leadership and people skills

  • Significant experience identifying and driving operational excellence.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent technical aptitude in education.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Ability to travel approximately 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates with Abbott Neuromodulation product experience will be preferred.

  • Candidates with experience related to Hospital/Clinic program growth and/or prior marketing roles will be preferred.

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.

$99,300.00 - $198,700.00
