Reporting to a District Manager, Area Manager is a front-line management position responsible for overseeing and leading DW operations within a defined geographic area. AM is responsible for fulfillment of services to customers and leading technicians.  

Operations (50-60%) 

  • Lead and manage a team to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of resources, technicians, and capital.  
  • Expediently and professionally address all customer, operational, and performance concerns.  
  • Walk customer inventory to identify future workload requirements and QC repairs. 
  • Meet regularly with customers to discuss service levels, repair quality, cycle-time performance and other issues that drive customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure technicians possess the necessary skills, resources, equipment, and information to deliver high quality repairs and customer service. 
  • Communicate to keep team informed and up to date in critical information, expectations, company news, etc.  
  • On-board new employees, setting them up for success by educating them on role, expectations, processes, and policies. 
  • Closely support direct reports/managers optimizing production and day-to-day operations. 

Sales and Business Development   

  • Work with DM and/or DSM to develop and execute a revenue growth plan to sell additional services within existing customers. 
  • Partner with DM and DSM to sell new customers and maximize existing business opportunities. 
  • Build and solidify relationships with key customers and network to initiate relationships with prospective customers. 
  • Drive results using strategic selling skills and negotiation abilities that create a win-win for the customer and Dent Wizard. 

Required Qualifications  

  • Combined minimum experience of 3 years in a district route and auction leadership role required   
  • Profitable management of a P&L of at least $1.5M in revenue annually 
  • Experience managing other leaders and staffs of 20+   
  • Travels overnight approximately 10 – 20%

  • Active listener: credible and persuasive communication style that empowers others and leads decisively

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$75,000-$85,000/annual salary
