CRST The Transportation Solution is looking for a Manager - Distribution Center to lead operations for a variety of accounts and be accountable for the operational and financial performance of them.

How You'll Work:

Location: Onsite at 13200 Mid Atlantic Blvd Ste 140  Laurel, MD 20708
Job Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST) hours may vary due to business needs. 
Compensation: $79,200 - $102,970 is the full starting salary range (Pay Bi-Weekly) * A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Additional details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process. This position will be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) with a target payout of 10% of annual base salary.

About the Role:
The management, coordination, and execution of warehouse operations. Warehouse operations professionals play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods within a warehouse or distribution center. They ensure that products and goods are handled with safety, quality, and care as they are moved around and monitor inventory levels to ensure warehouse capacity is met for timely and accurate order fulfillment.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor / Analyze data to increase business operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and maximize profits (Managing P&L)
    Familiar with sales with the ability to bring local revenue into the distribution center.
  • Responsible for Fleet Operations - Recruiting drivers, ensuring compliance with State / DOT laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to CRST's Safety Policies.
  • Oversees Office Operations - Ensure compliance and efficiency in Planning / Dispatch for High Value Base business, following the Operations Guide and utilizing Dispatch Track.
  • Oversees Warehouse Operations - Manpower for shifts planned efficiently, warehouse staff is trained and following policies and procedures (SOPs), maintain OSHA compliance.
  • Responsible for Interstate Operations - Ensure the DC Team is working with Planners on a daily basis.
  • Oversees Programs - Ensure current programs are being billed and managed appropriately regarding space and manpower requirements.
  • Administrative - Review / Process payroll, review and approve invoices.
  • Work with HR - For reviews, hiring/firing, etc.
  • Is the escalation point of contact for bookers, customer service, and management.
