Role Purpose and Summary

The Supervisor, Distribution Center Operations / Inventory Quality & Control (IQC) will support operations within CVS Health's Woonsocket or North Smithfield Distribution Center.This role is designed for high-performing graduates of the CVS HealthSupply ChainInternship Program.

As part of a dynamic and evolving organization, the successful candidate may be aligned to either a Distribution Center Operations (DC Ops) or Inventory Quality & Control (IQC) supervisor role based on business needs and individual strengths. Final building assignment, department placement, shift, schedule, and role alignment will bedeterminedcloser to the program start date based on business needs and individual strengths.

This is an in-person positionlocatedat either the Woonsocket or North Smithfield Distribution Center.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to build relationships, coach colleagues, and drive operational performance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Your Main Responsibilities May Include

  • Lead and coach a team of hourly colleagues to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.

  • Plan, organize, direct, andmonitordaily operational activities within an assigned functional area.

  • Ensure colleagues have the resources, training, and support needed to perform their work successfully.

  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet daily production and delivery requirements.

  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics toidentifytrends andimprovementopportunities.

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve business outcomes.

  • Build high-performing teams while fostering engagement, development, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of the 2026 CVSHealth Supply ChainInternship Program

  • Bachelor's degree completed prior to program start date

  • Authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through employment, student organizations, athletics, volunteer activities, or academic projects

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization

  • Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory management, orlogisticsprocesses

  • Familiarity with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma concepts

  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Education

Bachelor's degreecompletedprior toprogramstart date, preferably with a major, minor, or concentration in Supply Chain Management, Transportation / Logistics, Business Operations Management, Business Analytics, ora relatedfield.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
