Job description

Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels. The Distribution Coordinator will ensure that supplies are being delivered to customers throughout the U.S. The focus of this role is to keep up to date on inventory to be ready when orders are placed for shipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and manages inventory levels for distributors and a 3PL warehouse
  • Maintains regular sales communication and support with buyers and distributors to ensure steady and timely flow of product to stores
  • Serves as the liaison and communicator between customers and the distributors regarding new commitments, daily shipments, and product launches
  • Works with Accounting and Finance to ensure billing is correct, approves invoices, issues credits
  • Assists Procurement to determine accuracy of incoming items and quantity arriving
  • Resolves any issues quickly including out of stocks, delays, and mis-shipments
  • Coordinates sample deliveries
  • Monitors international shipments
  • Consolidates stateside shipments
  • Works with buyers to secure new programs and expand MISA's portfolio
  • Manages distributor maintenance including item set up, pricing, PO coordination, compliance and delivery to the destination
  • Coordinates booking and shipping
  • Records and communicates inventory data
  • Strategizes with logistics to reorganize and reroute shipments to meet program deadlines

Requirements
