Overview:

The Associate Sales Manager will assist a Sales Manager and the International Sales team while managing and assuming financial accountability for a specific account or brand.  


Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist Sales Manager in all aspects of the international partnership including market preparation and administrative support    
  • Support seasonal order processing    
  • Partner with sourcing for bulk order tracking, receipt of order confirmations, shipping/delivery updates and maintenance of orders    
  • Communicate daily with international partners regarding seasonal orders
  • Ensure samples are effectively managed and pack/unpack samples as required    
  • Communicate daily with international partners upon request of any at once needs (pricing, samples and/or at once inventory)    
  • Support the sales and design team on GTM market preparation    
  • Support international customers in off calendar NY market week appointments with their retailers    
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with distributors/partners that help identify opportunities to grow the business with current and potential accounts    
  • Special projects as needed    

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
  • 1+ years of experience as Sales Coordinator or Account Associate (wholesale sales experience a plus)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
