What You Can Expect

Act as a key liaison between the Zimmer Biomet Business Units and the Global Operations & Supply Chain network. This individual will be an integral part of Zimmer Biomet Integrated Business Planning process and will ensure that reliable, high levels of service and quality are achieved for internal and external customers globally. This position will report to the global Supply Chain organization and will be key member in the supply chain planning process at Zimmer Biomet. In doing so, this position helps Zimmer Biomet commit to the highest standards of patient safety and quality in our products and services, and to world-class integrity and ethical business practices

How You'll Create Impact
  • Develop and maintain supply plans that align with demand forecasts across multiple time horizons, ensuring optimal service levels while balancing constraints.
  • Manage the global SKU level, weekly supply and distribution planning for dedicated global product lines
  • Drive robust standard planning processes to manage business rules and planning parameters, based on appropriate, data driven decisions and correct data usage
  • Assess manufacturing and supplier capacity to support forecasted requirements, collaborating with operations and procurement to manage risks and bottlenecks.
  • Optimize inventory across the network to minimize excess and obsolescence.
  • Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses to evaluate the impact of demand shifts, supply disruptions, or policy changes, and recommend contingency actions.
  • Actively participate in IBP processes, presenting supply planning insights and recommendations to cross-functional leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze key planning metrics such as plan adherence, inventory health, and capacity utilization, using data-driven insights to improve accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and commercial teams to align priorities and resolve escalations.
  • Maintain and enhance planning systems and tools, driving continuousimprovement in supply planning processes and automation.

Your Background
  • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or other related field
  • Minimum 6 years of business experience supply chain, project management, planning or IT systems, experience in all three areas strongly preferred
  • APIC CPIM and/or CSCP certification preferred
  • Experience with medical devices preferred
  • Experience with one or more ERP systems strongly preferred
  • Experience with one or more APS strongly preferred
Travel Expectations
  • Up to 10%
