About the Role
The Processing & Distribution Team Member supports the daily operations of the Processing Department through the safe handling, processing, packaging, storage, delivery and movement of product, materials, and supplies. This position assists with a variety of processing and distribution activities to ensure our product is prepared, handled, and delivered in accordance with company quality, food safety, biosecurity, and customer service standards.
The Processing & Distribution Team Member must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process, pack, label and prepare product according to company quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Receive, handle, store, move, and deliver products, materials, supplies, and inventory in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment and delivery maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklift, and other equipment following required training and certification.
  • Assist with inventory counts and inventory tracking activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, equipment, vehicle, storage, etc.
  • Follow all company safety, food safety, quality assurance, biosecurity, and cold-chain procedures.
  • Communicate operations, equipment , inventory, or product concerns to the manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of processing and distribution operations.

What You'll Bring
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety standards and biosecurity procedures at all times.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional conduct and appearance.
  • Ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to efficiently handle mutiple tasks as once.
  • Ability to follow instruction and work independently and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Ability to pass forklift and Gradall certification.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and attention to detail.
  • Must have basic math proficiency.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, walk, kneel and lift up to:
    • 20lbs consistently
    • 40lbs frequently
    • 50lbs occasionally

  • Must be able to work in a covered outdoor environment in high temperatures and inclement weather conditions with an occasional requirement to work in a deep freezer environment.
  • A flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
