Job description

Description:

If you've run a warehouse where the truck leaves on time or the whole thing falls apart, keep reading.

ExpoDisplays, the trade show design, production, and management division of Culton Companies, is hiring the operations leader to run our 130,000 square-foot Birmingham warehouse — the team, the inventory, the deadlines, all of it. This is not a maintain-the-status-quo job. You'll own the floor, set the standard, and build the systems that keep every shipment accurate and on time.

THE OPPORTUNITY

ExpoDisplays is the trade show design, production, and management division of Culton Companies. Our Exhibit Management group stores, preps, maintains, and ships client exhibits and materials to shows across the country — and this role runs the warehouse behind that work.

Out of our 130,000 square foot facility in Birmingham, we move exhibits and materials in and out on hard, immovable show deadlines. We are hiring the operations leader to run it: the team, the inventory, the deadlines, all of it.

This is not a maintain-the-status-quo job. You will own the floor, set the standard, and build the systems that keep every shipment accurate and on time. When show season hits, how the warehouse performs is on you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own full responsibility for the warehouse floor — the team, the inventory, and the shipping deadlines
  • Lead, coach, and hold the warehouse team to a clear operational standard
  • Build and refine the systems and processes that keep every shipment accurate and on time
  • Oversee exhibit and materials storage, prep, maintenance, and shipping for shows across the country
  • Run the warehouse at full capacity during peak show season, including extended hours as needed
  • Travel to a handful of shows in your first year to see the work through from warehouse to show floor
  • Partner with Exhibit Management and Sales teams to keep inventory and shipping accurate across every project

Bonus Points For:

  • ERP or inventory-system experience — we run NetSuite and ExhibitForce
  • A background where deadlines and inventory both mattered: produce, food and beverage, 3PL, or high-mix fulfillment
  • A track record of building or fixing processes, not just running them

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

  • Full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham, Alabama
  • Competitive salary based on experience, with room to grow as the operation grows
  • Extended hours expected during peak show season, plus travel to a handful of shows in year one

THE PERKS

We take care of the people who keep the warehouse running:

 Health, Dental & Vision

 401K Retirement Plan

 Paid Parental Leave

 PTO + 7 Paid Holidays

?  AFLAC & Liberty National

 FSA Plan

 Online Payroll Access

 Quarterly Employee Events
