ABM Industries is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee facility maintenance and operational performance at a high-profile client site. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while driving continuous improvement and service excellence.
The Operations Manager will lead maintenance teams, manage projects, oversee budgets, and serve as the primary point of contact for client coordination related to facility operations.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage daily facility maintenance and operational activities
  • Lead and develop skilled technicians across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance disciplines
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute operational and capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Monitor and report operational KPIs, maintenance metrics, and financial performance
  • Prepare professional reports and presentations for senior leadership and client review
  • Manage labor planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and service delivery
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service

Qualifications
  • 3+ years' management experience in maintenance or facility operations
  • Maintenance background with working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite required; CMMS experience preferred)
  • Experience tracking, documenting, and analyzing operational data
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
