This purpose of the Distribution Supervisor will support the day-to-day facility operations by managing the hourly workforce.  The Facility Supervisor is considered second in command next to the Facility Manager and is responsible for ensuring all Company and facility initiatives are implemented and followed within the facility. 

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities) 

  • Act as the front-line Company representative for the hourly workforce. 
  • Implement practices to achieve Company and facility goals. 
  • Ensure adherence to all Company and facility procedures and policies. 
  • Oversee coordination, ordering, and managing rail cars to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective transportation for plant operations. 
  • Oversee and support blending functions including bulk loading/unloading, VI, and tote filling. 
  • Manage financial aspects of the facility including adhering to facility budget constraints. Trouble shoot PGI Ship Completion Errors/Processing orders. 
  • Manage facility projects to ensure cost-effective and smooth implementation while minimizing operational disruptions 
  • Oversee truck/driver safety. 
  • Oversee dispatching and routing metrics/efficiency. 
  • Manage Fleet maintenance 

What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities) 

  • Completion of a 4-year degree in a manufacturing related major (i.e. - Business Management, Engineering, etc.) is preferred 
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred. 
  • Must be experienced is MS office, especially Excel. Experience in SAP are preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements 

  • Must pass pre-employment physical
