What is the opportunity?

RBC is seeking a Senior Manager to support the Data Insights and Analytics function for the Distribution Transformation Program. As we move towards our digital-first ambition, this role will be critical in driving the large-scale distribution transformation by building data analytics and insights function, establishing mechanisms to effectively monitor performance, enabling use-cases and driving management insights. The successful candidate will partner closely with stakeholders to streamline and prioritize data builds, design and deliver reporting mechanisms and drive program-level management insights.

What will you do?

  • Champion design and delivery of scalable data assets, dashboards, and other reporting tools to support Distribution transformation program's ambition and decisions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations, leveraging business knowledge and analytics to identify performance drivers and improvement opportunities

  • Proactively support senior leadership with strategic insights across multiple lines of business, channels, and products, including identifying opportunities to improve channel performance, sales, client experience, and employee experience

  • Act as a key contributor to national initiatives and strategic projects by leading analysis, generating insights, and supporting change through data storytelling and executive-ready materials

  • Apply advanced analytical techniques, such as predictive modeling, segmentation, and correlation analysis, to deepen performance insights and support data-driven decision-making

  • Drive continuous improvement of transformation reporting processes, establish performance monitoring routines, and streamline the tracking of KPIs across channels

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data experts and business partners, effectively managing multiple priorities, ad-hoc requests, and long-term initiatives in a fast-paced environment

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial services, specifically within data analytics & insights / strategy

  • Proven experience in analytics, with a focus on performance management and delivering strategic business insights

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, paired with advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Solid knowledge of data management principles, data pipelines, and best practices in handling large datasets

  • Skilled in trend analysis and forecasting to anticipate business performance and identify opportunities

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development

  • Hands-on experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel) for data visualization and dashboard development

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of RBC's Canadian Banking channels, including the Advice Centre, Digital, and/or Physical Networks

  • Experience in Canadian Banking Operations or Canadian Banking Finance

  • MBA or CPA is a plus

  • Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or related quantitative field
