Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead inventory control processes across all sites, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and system accuracy
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations across multiple sites, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and material movement
  • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse personnel; establish clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as on-time shipping, order accuracy, and space utilization
  • Ensure full traceability of medical devices (lot/serial control) and compliance with FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, and GMP standards
  • Analyze and report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, backorder levels, and carrying costs
  • Oversee relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers (if applicable)
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows across all sites to maximize efficiency and capacity
  • Develop and manage distribution strategies to optimize order fulfillment, shipping efficiency, and inter-site product flow
  • Oversee intercompany and inter-site inventory balancing to support service levels across all locations
  • Lead root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, distribution, or supply chain within a regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, including lot traceability and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced Excel or data analytics capability
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with regular presence in warehouse environments
  • Travel between three local facilities within a 15-mile radius
  • Cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments
