The Distribution Manager is responsible for leading daily distribution center operations and partnering with senior leadership to drive operational excellence across receiving, replenishment, inventory movement, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping functions. This role ensures productivity, quality, safety, service, and financial objectives are achieved while developing high-performing teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations in a high-volume environment.
  • Oversee staffing, labor planning, and resource allocation to meet changing business demands and service levels.
  • Drive operational performance by monitoring productivity, quality, safety, attendance, and accuracy metrics.
  • Manage international shipping processes and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure facility security, maintenance reporting, janitorial services, and overall building operations are effectively managed.
  • Lead safety initiatives, deliver monthly safety training, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational processes.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, ISO compliance, work instruction management, and employee competency programs.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Inbound, Outbound, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure customer commitments and operational goals are met.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and warehouse team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and employee development discussions.
  • Support workforce planning, training, certification, and cross-training programs.
  • Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
  • Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF technology, and automated distribution processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operational metrics, and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with warehouse technology platforms is highly preferred.

Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually plus bonus based on experience
