We are partnering with a growing client that is actively interviewing and ready to hire an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to lead and optimize their direct-to-consumer and B2C fulfillment operations.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing the full order lifecycle — from order placement through delivery, returns, carrier management, and fulfillment systems optimization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and bring a strong operational mindset focused on scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end order fulfillment operations across D2C and B2C channels
  • Oversee daily order flow, fulfillment execution, shipping performance, and exception management
  • Lead relationships with 3PLs, warehouse partners, and shipping carriers including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and regional providers
  • Negotiate carrier contracts, optimize shipping costs, and monitor delivery performance
  • Manage returns and reverse logistics operations, including refund and exchange processes
  • Lead and support a small operations team including fulfillment, logistics, and returns coordinators
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Own and improve operational systems including OMS, WMS, ERP, and e-commerce platform integrations
  • Develop operational dashboards and KPIs focused on fulfillment accuracy, shipping performance, cost per order, and return rates
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to support company growth

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, fulfillment, logistics, or related operational leadership roles
  • Experience managing 3PLs, warehouse operations, and carrier relationships
  • Strong understanding of OMS, WMS, ERP integrations, Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools
  • Proven experience improving fulfillment operations within a high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Experience supporting both B2C marketplace and D2C website fulfillment models
  • Background within consumer products, manufacturing, food & beverage, or related industries
  • Prior leadership experience managing small operational teams
  • Familiarity with freight claims, carrier compliance programs, and shipping insurance
