Your role at Clorox:

Distribution's purpose is to provide on-time shipments of high-quality products to meet customer needs in a safe and efficient manner that minimizes costs. The purpose of this position is to perform all day-to-day activities, with focus on materials movement/management, palletizer operations and product storage, to achieve the department and business objectives. Day to day general direction is provided by the Lead Shipper and the Distribution Manager.
Work hours: This position may be on 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift. Candidate must be open to either shift. Shift Hours are as follows:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Starting Pay Rate: $27.11 + Shift Differential

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct Palletizer/Unitizer operations to include changeover, resolution of operational problems and to ensure finish product is at its highest quality.
  • Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, to include batteries and chargers.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.
  • Any assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by the Distribution Manager.
  • Moving and positioning finished products or materials from the Palletizer/Unitizer, trucks or rail into designated areas within the facility. (Essential Function)
  • Load and unload all loads of finished goods and materials, as assigned.
  • Comply with all customer service requirements.
  • Comply with all customer service requirements.

What we look for:

  • 1-year fork truck/lift experience
  • Complete all applicable Distribution Department Multiskilled training checklists up to and including Block 4.
  • Ability to perform as a Clorox licensed forklift operator, with additional qualification for use of attachments.
  • Knowledge of Palletizer/Unitizer operations skills to include changeover, adjustment and maintenance, safety procedures and clearing of routine jams and troubleshooting skills to maintain the highest operating standers.
  • Ability use computers
  • Knowledge or SAP S4 Hana/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Radio Frequency (RF) mobile data entry or similiar Warehouse management systems
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or similar manufacturing line event data systems.

  • Complete all department multiskilled training checklist requirements up to and including Block 6
  • Knowledge of warehouse housekeeping practices.
  • Knowledge of warehouse standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of finished case quality standards.
  • Knowledge of DOT and HAZMAT labeling requirements.
  • Knowledge of customer service requirements.
