Salary range (but not limited to):

87,200 - 106,600

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Management of internal monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting by working closely with various distribution entities and finance teams.
  • Analyze and understand results in collaboration with business partners.
  • Consolidate our different entities with handling of eliminations entries
  • Advise the team on the accounting and operationalization of complex transactions and financial restructurings.
  • Support our business units in the management of their financial performance, including our portfolio of private equity.
  • Participate in the financial systems and accounting processes improvement initiatives.
  • Simplify, standardize, secure and increase controls of different work files.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions to management based on your expertise.

What you will bring:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, IFRS accounting standards and/or finance.
  • Experience in consolidation in large companies with complex legal structures.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Fast learning, agility and adaptability to change.
  • Discipline, autonomy, resourcefulness and professionalism.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
