Our Expectations

Reporting to the Distribution Services Manager & Supervisor, the Coordinator acts as a key point of contact between stores, our merchants, and internal teams. The role plays an important part in maintaining the smooth flow of operations between the stores and the Distribution Center. The individual directly contributes to resolving operational issues, improving processes, and providing strong support to field teams by managing claims, coordinating merchandise returns, and assisting teams in resolving operational challenges quickly and effectively.

We are looking for someone who is autonomous, proactive, and collaborative, who enjoys taking initiative, analyzing situations, and working with multiple teams to find effective solutions. The Claims department handles a high volume of client requests, fast paced environment requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files, prioritize effectively and work through tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.

Your Role

  • Manage and analyze claims originating from stores and merchants.

  • Collaborate with the Transportation, Inventory, Merchandising, and Operations teams to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Provide operational support and deliver fast and effective service to stores.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose practical solutions.

  • Perform various administrative and operational tasks necessary to support daily activities (document filing, document scanning, etc.).

  • Act as a liaison between stores and the Distribution Center for claims related to overages, shortages, transportation costs or issues, and product return requests.

  • Coordinate merchandise returns between stores, the Distribution Center, and the Transportation and Operations teams.

  • Work closely with the Inventory team to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies or issues.

  • Ensure established policies and procedures are followed and communicate improvement opportunities to the Operations teams and/or stores.

  • Support merchants and internal teams in the application of Distribution Center operational procedures.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and take initiative in identifying operational solutions.
