Logistics Supervisor (IB3)
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Business Unit: CESBG
Job Classification: Exempt
SUMMARY
Oversee and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including materials planning, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination. Ensure efficient flow of materials to production while maintaining high standards for quality, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee daily Manufacturing and logistics operations, including inventory control, material distribution, and shipping/receiving.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the production line at the most cost-effective rates while upholding quality and safety standards.
  • Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing staff, including assigning tasks, training, and performance management.
  • Implement and maintain inventory accuracy practices, including regular cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and reporting.
  • Coordinate purchasing, project managers, and other internal departments to ensure materials and goods flow efficiently.
  • Identify and quarantine suspicious or non-conforming material and oversee its appropriate disposition.
  • Expedite and track urgent or delayed parts and ensure smooth material flow through all stages.
  • Oversee the proper documentation and compliance for all outbound shipments, including finished goods.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, cleanliness, and organizational standards in the manufacturing.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing layout, processes, and logistics performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
  •  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Must have Domestic and International logistics experience
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
